I'm going to make another suggestion.
While some on this list know quite a bit, the attitude you take is going to make things rough on you. Maybe it's just the tone of your letter, but you seem to put yourself down quite frequently, or point to that. Employers will jump all over you for that. You might get a job, but they're going to give it to you and make you work for less if they think you have a lower image like that. So be confident with what you know, ask questions about what you don't. But don't put yourself down is all I'm saying. People later on will take advantage of that.
Back on topic: you'll need to find out what most people that outsource use, as that is probably going to be your best bet. Java is cross-platform, but it depends on what some companies use. if you have the chance, take them both. I'd also recommend learning html, javascript, php and mysql. The more you are comfortable and proficient with, the more opportunities you will have to get hired. Also, rather than paying two programmers to do something, if you know more, you could make more and save your company the issue of yet another employee. Less benafits and all that, if your chosen company does that. Less money leaving their pockets is what makes more employers happy. Then they can spend it on beer or something rather than some computer geek down in the tech department.

my answer to your query is, "look it up",
ask friends to look through the news paper, or look through any listing of jobs available in your area, let alone your country and see what employers, especially the higher paying employers are looking for between the two choices you have.
this will tell you what you need to know to make a good choice, better than what I, living in another country could tell you!

hello folks out there,
today i need your valuable suggestions on a topic that is related to my studies. 
in my third semester of software engeneering which had started just a
few days back, i will soon will asked  to choose an optionor what they
calls it "elective".
basically, they asks  students to choose between two options as web
services, or java.
they teaches
asp.net
in web services, and java me in java.
now, i want your valuable suggestion, as
firstly, which one is best acording to accessibility perspective?
since i don't have any much knowledge about java me, have someone
worked with it, or working currently?
note: those who don't know, acording to sun micro systems, Java ME is
the Most Ubiquitous Application Platform for Mobile Devices which can
be Deployed on billions of devices, supported by leading tool vendors,
and used worldwide.

also, i would like to know, that which out of these both I.E. java me
and asp .net has more potential to produce a respective job in country
like india?
please, please come up with your valuable suggestions as soon as it is
possible for you.
