try to play with settings from your sound card.Sometimes they come with environments and efects activated that make jaws sounds strange.
Also they have bass and treble sliders there so you can change something.----- Original Message ----- From: "Littlefield, Tyler" <tyler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Sina:Thanks; I will do that. I need to go track down the drivers for this. It's with the speakers a bit I think, but not so much, that I can tell. It's a huge issue with the headphones. On 5/19/2011 8:28 PM, Sina Bahram wrote:Update your sound drivers as the first thing. Even if you have them up to date, reinstall them. I've found with bass issues with jaws, almost 70% of them are fixed with a sound driver update, even if the latest and greatest are already installed.Does the bassiness exist through headphones as well as speakers? I got it so I could do more in terms of programming, and the dell was kind of falling apart. Anyway, my problem. This is an asus system, it's got a realtech card in it for sound. I'm noticing that Jaws seems really really basey and muffled, and it's the only thing with that problem. I know it's not the headphones because these same headphones are used on my other system and it sounds good. Is there a way with seven, or some sort of fix that will increase the treble just a bit and lower the base?-- Take care, Ty my website: http://tds-solutions.net my blog: http://tds-solutions.net/blog skype: st8amnd127 My programs don't have bugs; they're randomly added features! __________View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind
