The intent wasn't to help you, Teddy, it was to prevent other folks who
might read this thread from assuming that writing programs in java means you
can't sell it without gpl licensing that program.

Java opperates, rather will operate, under a class path exception, which
prevents that kind of viral GPL non-sense from limiting growth.
