Hi, Homer kit has executables that might not be authorized to run in restricted environments. CIV NAVAIR 1490, 1, 26 Subject: Re: jaws programming add-ons question Jude, Let me clarify that the Homer.NET libraries and HomerApp MDI framework are for rapid development of accessible Windows GUI applications, not about extending JAWS. For anyone whose security may let them unarchive but not run an executable installer, HomerApp (which includes the Homer.NET libraries) is also available at the same URL but with a .zip extension, i.e., http://EmpowermentZone.com/appsetup.zip For JAWS add-ons, I suggest JAWS Script Exchange, which includes a number of script packages and tools. It is also available either as an executable installer at http://EmpowermentZone.com/jsxsetup.exe or as a zip archive at http://EmpowermentZone.com/jsxsetup.zip By default, the installer targets the directory C:\JSX I think that JAWS scripts can be installed in even strict security environments. They are files placed in a subdirectory of application data along with other JAWS settings. A normal JAWS installation requires write access to that settings directory. Installing JAWS scripts does not put files in the Program Files directory tree. Hope this helps, Jamal On 3/7/2011 10:06 AM, DaShiell, Jude T.
