You can find tens of perl modules that could help you to get stock quotes from different exchanges from:

Subject: freely available finantial data?

I'd like to experimentn with writing programs that do analasys of stocck markets, bond markets, etc. The only site I've found so far for freely available finantial data is
http://www.opentick.com
But registration is currently closed. I'd like the data to be as close to real time as possible and don't want to resort to writing a screen scraper. Thanks for any info.
