hmmm, interesting, two folks have had experiences, no, I think it was three, three, that involved a serial port device and getting the critical info in some fashion and turning it to speech/useable output, hmmmm

The technician I talked with last night told me he doesn't know if the DVI standard has ever been defined and written down anywhere yet too. Probability for now is we can't yet get there from here yet.
