Hi there.
I guess you probibly won't have this installed, but there is a program called aunty exe from feronics, www.feronics.com they also are the makers of the very nice program deep freeze, aunty exe on installation authorizes every program on your machine, and then does not allow nothing else to run! you have to enter your password to access aunty exe then authorize it, i dout you have this, just a thought.
Also, have you checked the data exicution provention settings (dep)?
to do this, go to my computer icon on the desktop, hit ault enter.
go to the advanced tab, and then go to the performance settings button.
Go to the dep data exicution provention tab, and make sure that turn on dep for the windows services is selected, and not for all programs.
Kind regards: jamie.

Subject: can't run .exe files on pc

Hi Friends. Need your urgent help before i take the drastic action of reloading my OS. I have a problem with running any .exe files on my computer which results in my inability to install any programs on my pc. Does anyone know what particular file needs to be registered into the registry that can help me resume normal installation services on my pc? aAny help will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
