Hello Laura:

I have never worked with ISO images, but I have burned many DVDs using
Singe, the simplest thingI found to burn data CDs and DVDs. It just does
not burn audio CDs, but as long as you want data CDs it works fine and is
very simple to use.

Subject: bpburning a dvd with Roxio

Hi all --
I downloaded the ISO image of VS2008 express version and need to burn it
onto a dvd. I have Roxio on my system and have been trying to burn the
image, but no matter what I do, Roxio ejects the disk and puts me back where

I started.
Yes the dvd is not upside down.
Yes I read the little tutorial and help file.
Question: do I need to format the dvd before burning? Even when I try to
erase the dvd it ejects immediately.
I know the burning couldn't have taken place that fast. I'm just not doing
something right.
Another question: could it be I don't have a DVR but just a cdrw? How would
I check?
I'm almost sure it's a DVR as this is the most recent laptop I have
purchased and it seems I got a DVR.
Believe it or not I have never messed with burning disks before so I'm
playing catchup in this type of thing.
Ideas welcome.
TIA for any info.
