did you see that they have a mysql reference manual on their site?
They have it for every version you want.
So go on google and search:
Mysql+5.1+reference+manual

and you will get a big book.

Subject: accessible my sql book request

  hi.
i am taking a class in my sql and got my sql 5.1.5 community server.
and now from http://www.oten.edu.au, and their text book they use is not
accessible, a lot of flash, and images, and time consuming having to use open
book in 40 minute mode, then to print, then to ocr, then to save in word
format, and then having to reboot my toshiba laptop every 40 minutes, which is
a real pain.
so looking for an accessible text book, for my sql 5.1 or 5.1.5.
any one got any links, and do not have a credit card, so looking for a free
accessible version, for assignments i am doing.
have contacted safari, and they say they do not have a accessible version of
heads up my sql.
any one that could help, maybe e-mail me off list, if this is not on topic.
  marvin.
ps: using jaws 12, windows vista home premium 32 bit and using my sql
community server 5.1.5.
