Which Linux + screen reader to choose?

Hi everyone,
I am a windows user using jaws. I would like to learn linux also. There are
many linux distribution and many screen readers available.
I would like to know which linux distribution has most built in support for
screen readers. And is there any single, simple package containing required
tools for screen readers (not too large in size!)
What you all think about lsr, orca, speakup etc?
any inputs are welcome.
