Visual studio and error lists

Hi All. I am wondering if there is a way to limit the frequency of the error
list in visual studio poping up. Thing is it pops up too frequently, even when
i am in the process of typing code, and that slows down my work quite a lot.
There are times when errors keep popping up, way before i even finish typing a
statement or a function. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!
