I think that the package deployment installs the files that it needs.
There was a mention that the DOTNET files need to be installed, I am not sure
if they need to be installed separately or the VB6 deploy will install these
components that it needs.

Hello!

Let me add in this point. If I'm going to use Microsoft visual Basic 6
package deployment wizard and if I'm going to distribute the project, would
that be possible to run the program without the Visual Basic application?

Subject: Visual Basic 6 Package Deployment

Hello friends,

I HAVE A STRANGE PROBLEM?QUERY< I am using the Microsoft visual Basic 6
package deployment wizard to create my setup programme etc. When I run
through the wizard, I don't seem to be able to specify where I want the
programme to install, e.g. I want it to install in C:\PROGRAM
FILES\WINTELE2.0 but it insists on installing it to C:\PROGRAM FILES\Project
one.
Does anyone remember enough about this that may be able to help please?

Many thanks in anticipation,

Steve.
