Interesting it sounds like the scripts just need a few tweaks I will maybe
fight with it this week or next. Not sure when I am a bit swamped with CSUN
coming up.

Hi Ken,

Of course, the UI automation was there in .NET framework 3.5 (released
with VS 2008), however, I never encountered it in the VS ide itself as
the components of ide whom I interacted with was not built using WPF
(I can say that using the home row feature of Jaws, HWNDWrapper is
what you most often find as the window class name for a WPF UI
object).

I have also recompiled the VS scripts for Jaws11, still no
improvements with the code editor. I have noticed following problems
with jaws during couple of attempts:
1. Jaws is not speaking the entire line - it just speaks the first
word or a few words but not all of it. I tested the SayLine function
and found that it was not capturing the entire line.
2. Hazy reading - The response to the commands is considerably slow
and unpredictable compare to what it used to be. If I quickly press
downarrow multiple times, I'm not getting the right line spoken (the
focussed one) - The Jaws seems to get confused. Let alone quick
commands, even reading slowly using the up and down arrow keys does
not produce predictable output. I had faced such unpredictable and
hazy reading earlier also - when working with NetBeans for Java - I
just opted to use Eclipse instead for this very reason.
3. No Intellisense announcement - well if it's not properly reading
the static text (the written one), I cannot expect it to support
dynamic intellisense - still, this is another important area it's
missing.

Well I'm using the old VS 2005 Jaws scripts. has anyone developed or
got one for VS 2008 or 2010 especially written to handle problems with
UIA? I'll be greatful if I can get this problem solved quickly - else
I have to restraint myself from using VS 2010, which seems to be the
IDE for the new project recently assigned to me.
