Using the menu strip control and programming menus in vb.net 2005

Hi.
when inserting the menu strip control, in vb.net 2005, how do i add
menu items, to the menu strip with jaws 6.10 at the moment, hoping to
get jaws 8 or 9 soon at my college.
any trick to do this?
