Hi Stefik, Have just downloaded the latest Sodbeans and going to give it a bash.I have tried to find the Sodbeans mailing list to sign up but to no avail. Any chance you could send me a link?
Many thanks and thanks for all the help. Roger----- Original Message ----- From: "Andreas Stefik" <stefika@xxxxxxxxx>

My team reads both lists, so we'll get it either way, but it's there if you want. Stefik On Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 9:52 AM, Andreas Stefik <stefika@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Roger, Off the top of my head, I think we've done most of our Sodbeans testing with JAWS 12, and I haven't experienced the problems you are mentioning with that version. Another thing you "could" try, depending on your setup and your preferences, is by going to Tools -> Text-to-speech -> Next Speech Engine and seeing if you find a self-voicing engine tolerable for your system. Self voicing sounds pretty bad on windows XP unless you have another SAPI voice installed, but it's worth a try. As for JAWS 9, If you own a later version of JAWS, is there a way of legally getting previous versions for our team to do testing? Also, Windows XP 32 or 64? Followingsome advice given I have installed Sodbeans which is apparently netbeans with the sappy stuff already installed. My ventures thus far have beenlimited. When trying to open an existing file the dialog boxes do not seemvery accessible as the lists within them do not seem to give feedback. I'm running Windows XP and Jaws 9. Any ideas on how to get some feedback from the dialog boxes. Many thanks Roger
