you will have to locate code and examples of the code and properties that are under current studies, you and your instructor should be able to work this out to there satisfaction

Okay, so c++ can be written on the Mac. Excellent! But how will I follow the rest of the class when they are using Alice, and I am using XCode?

He said c++, which makes me assume he's in a c++ class. Asking to use c# in a c++ class probably isn't the best route.
Visual Studio is also accessible with jaws, which includes an IDE for c++.

Hi Jess,
In my uneducated opinion, if they'll accept C#, then this list would give you a ton of help getting C# 2008 Express set up and going on a PC.

Hi all,

I'm taking an intro to computer programming and logic class, and I've heard that Alice is accessible on the Mac platform with voiceover. However, my professor said that if it wasn't, I could use the developer tools on the Mac to do our assignments, which will strictly be in the c plus plus programming language. The professor would then test me on the process of writing the code, instead of the materials in the text book, since the book deals strictly with Alice. So, have any of you been successful at writing C plus plus code on the Mac? If C plus plus programs can't be written on the Mac? IS Alice accessible with Jaws on the pc at all? What about visual studio? Is that accessible with Jaws?
Jes
