Long before Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented HTML and the Web, connecting from
one computer to another over the internet or otherdial-up network was
strictly a command-line affair.
Telehack (www.telehack.com) is an online simulation of that era. Connect to
the system via the web, or telnet to telehack.com if you prefer, and you'll
find yourself at a command prompt from which you can do many things. There's
a built-in BASIC interprter, for example, and dozens of other simulated
systems that you can connect to and explore.

adventure games and who don't like the endless wizards and killings that
dominate the online games market today.
