Depends on the program you're using, if winamp, turn on the equalizer and just use the volume up until that pre amp volume is cranked, or 1 below cranked and then use the arrow up and down buttons to adjust the volume to your liking. The best idea though is use 2 sound cards. 1 for jaws, the other for everything else. Much cheater than an external synth and just as good if not better. USB cards are fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matthew2007" <matthew2007@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi all,Sorry for the double posting, but I am going nuts with the jaws volume. I'm wondering if there is a way of somehow being able to turn down the jaws voice without turning down the Windows system volume? That is, when listening to any kind of audio, when one wants to raise the audio as in music or a DVD, one must also deal with the jaws volume shredding one's eardrums because the eloquence voice is so damn loud! Is there a programming fix or possibly even a scripting fix?Matthew __________View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind
