Sodbeans how to

Hi list,
I have recently aquired a version of Sodbeans as I will need to use Netbeans
for my upcoming university module.
Sodbeans I have been told is the Netbeans software that has sappy voices ready
installed to make for easier access.
I am blind and use a screen reader.
I am currently using Windows XP with Jaws 9 though I will also be hoping to use
Voice over with my macc book.
So the question is this:
How do I interact with the dialogue boxes when trying to open a project?
Apologies for seeming dim but I am really out of my depth here and need to get
to grips before the module starts.
