Hi, I tried to use JAWS to make a silent frame that covered all but the last line of the screen, but it didn't work. I must have been doing something wrong or didn't get the coordinates exactly right. Several of us are annoyed by this. I often make use of the clear command in linux, so this problem is heavily minimized. Note, control+l does the same thing. Can you get around that and make it talk like a command line window, where all you hear is the current stuff that comes to the screen? I'm experiencing the issue in Vista in case it matters, with JAWS 11. Jim Jim Homme, Usability Services, Phone: 412-544-1810 Skype: jim.homme Internal recipients, Read my accessibility blog. We are trying to see if we can overcome the accessibility problems so I can take my turn being on call. Is SSH or Putty more accessible with JAWS in accessing a LINUX system from windows. We installed SSH 3.2 but it is a trial version and I am not sure how much the commercial version cost or even where to purchase it. When I try to go to their website most of it is in a different language. Is PUTTY free or is there also a cost after the trial version? I appreciate any information anyone has on these issues. I am using JAWS 11.0 on Windows XP.
