That did the trick it seems. I changed the font and increased the size then reduced the size with the new font just for fun. Anyway, that seems to have fixed the problem.

Experiment with changing the size of the font in notePad and see if that
changes the way JFW reads the lines.

Hi Guys:
I use NotePad to create documents and for coding.  I recently loaded jaws
9.xx.  If I type a word or line then hit enter to go to the next line jaws
is reading the first line twice.
This is consistent every time I go to the end of a line and hit enter. If I hit enter several times jaws reads the first line twice then adds the blank
lines as I would expect.  Anyone else run across this?
This is not happening in Outlook as I type this message so might be
particular to NotePad unless anyone else has run up against this situation.
Is there a problem or script I need to  do something with?
