Thanks Bob:That did the trick it seems. I changed the font and increased the size then reduced the size with the new font just for fun. Anyway, that seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks again Bob: Rick Farmington Mich. USA----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob J." <rjustice004@xxxxxxxxxx>

Experiment with changing the size of the font in notePad and see if that changes the way JFW reads the lines. hth Bob----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Thomas" <rthomas@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2008 5:04 AM Subject: Jaws and NotePad Hi Guys: I use NotePad to create documents and for coding. I recently loaded jaws 9.xx. If I type a word or line then hit enter to go to the next line jaws is reading the first line twice. This is consistent every time I go to the end of a line and hit enter. If I hit enter several times jaws reads the first line twice then adds the blanklines as I would expect. Anyone else run across this? This is not happening in Outlook as I type this message so might beparticular to NotePad unless anyone else has run up against this situation. Is there a problem or script I need to do something with?
