If anyone can figure out how to convert the help files for the .NET
Framework Class Library from .hxs to something easier to use like HTML,
CHM, or text, that would be a helpful contribution to blind .NET
programmers.  These files may be found by searching one's computer for
*.hxs after installing Visual Studio and the local MSDN help.  The SDK
Ken mentions may be able to do this but I found that it does not work
with the Express editions of VS (although a complex work-around may be
possible according to the web page).

I think you would need this sdk with visual studio to read them.

I think so... I believe it's used in quite a few Microsoft products such as
Office.
