Question from a hobbyist programmer

Hello all,
I am considering my future on this list. The thing is I am not going to
program for a career; I will be doing technical support. However, I do
enjoy programming as a hobby. Am I still welcome on this list, or are
there more suitable ones for hobbyist programmers?
