I think Eclipse is more accessible than VisualStudio. I also often use 
emacspeak as a code editor as Dr. Raman did what I think is an amazingly good 
job of making a totally accessible programmer's editor. Raman uses it himself 
for many hours per day and you can get answers to problem on the emacspeak 
mailing list.
