Yes, please send them.

I know how to do the forms mode, and the list of links, etc. with JFW but
cannot figure out how to do it with NVDA.

NVDA can surf the net well. You need to be diligent about switching forms mode
on and off.
I have written a couple of tutorials for NVDA, one a complete beginner
introduction to websurfing which doesn't go through all the concepts. Its a
part 1 of 2 lesson. I haven't written lesson 2 yet. Also I wrote a guide for
the Facebook mobile website which takes you through setting up an account and
using the Facebook mobile site. I could send them to you off list if you want.
You may get a feel for web surfing from these guides?

Thanks so much! That is indeed what happened. I had two of them running.

Now, is there a way to actually use the internet with NVDA? I haven't found
anything in the user guide yet. I tried getting to the logon edit box on a
website and it sounded like I was there, but it didn't work. So is NVDA just
not robust enough for the internet or have I just not found the information yet
for it?

Hi Eileen,

You may have the one of the following three problems:

1 You may have 2 instances of NVDA running. I have had this problem before.
Close one of them down with Insert+Q.

2 Narrator may be running too. I have had this before. Press windows+U, down
arrow to Narrator is running and Tab to Stop button and press Enter.

3 You need to save your voice preference in NVDA, so you can use the same voice
every time you start NVDA. Press Insert+N, P for Preferences, then G for
General Settings. Tab to the Save configuration on Exit checkbox and press
space to check it. Now every time you exit NVDA the voice you chose will be
remembered for next time.

I hope this information has helped.
