NVDA info

Greetings all --
I am trying NVDA for a while due to a lot of problems with jaws lately.
I like it so far, but wonder if there is a list for NVDA users.
If there are any users subscribed to this list, is NVDA able to manage
Outlook Express find forms? I assume it can, but I can't find any way to
locate and check the box for messages "received after: 8/30/2010"
I can read the line, but the dropdown menus won't activate I click the box,
and the box isn't being found by NVDA.
So how do I locate it?
