It's available in my copy (VS C# 2008 Express).Go into Tools > Options and arrow left twice to close the Environment option in the left hand pane. Then arrow down the tree view until you get to Debugging and arrow right to open it and down once to the General page. Tab across into the right hand pane and arrow down to the tenth line which is:Redirect all output Window text to the Immediate Window Hit spacebar until you hear 'not checked'. Tab to the Ok button and see if you can then run in debug mode using f5. hth Martin----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 7:50 PM Subject: Re: More help with programming assignmentThis option is not available in the 2008 Express edition. -- Chris Hallsworth E-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Yahoo! I notice the appropriate checkbox is not checked in my copy of VS C# 2008 Express. hth Martin----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 3:44 PM Subject: More help with programming assignmentHello all, Thanks to a list member I've now modified the code for my project, but despite all this I still can't debug or run the program. Should I now consider doing my project inside a Windows XP virtual machine? I'm notsuggesting a possible compatibility issue, but I don't seem to be gettinganywhere with this and I've got three weeks to do all this, plus the other assignments not mentioned here. yes I could contact my tutor but it appears they're on their holidays as I've not received feedback on a previous document I sent them. Please advise soon. Thanks. -- Chris Hallsworth__________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind__________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
