As you probably know, these can be run from a command prompt with clear console output. I usually prefer to see changes in database structure in code I can examine and tweak in written form rather than manipulating controls of a grid interface, which unfortunately tends to be inherently two or three dimensional and visual in nature. Perhaps you had better experience with other databases though.
