Hi, There is an addition to this piece of advice. As I understand it, if you start JFW automatically, you cannot use this tip. It only works if you kill that version of JFW (or don't have it start automatically) and then start it manually. This means it is not running as a Service. Take Care, Gerry Ellis If you don't know where you're going, How will you know when you get there? ----- Original Message ----- From: Good, John To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 04, 2009 8:20 PM Subject: RE: Message about speeding up JFW Thanks Alex, I forgot where it was. I was looking under the control panel. If you do the control alt delete on Vista, you have to arrow through a list of options or hit end to go to the bottom of the list. At any rate, someone posted a message that suggested that JFW or any running application can be speeded up by assigning more processing time to the process. I no longer have that e-mail and I wish to re-read it for another use at work. The message was posted in the last three weeks. If anyone has this post, can you please re-post it or send it to me privately at John.good@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thank you, John
