Hey again, > I'm > already using the MikTeX environment for Windows so I wouldn't want to > change that any time soon. Texnic centre, what I had recommended, is a latex integrated development environment used in conjunction with mixtex, not a replacement. It's sort of like visual studio --- for latex. The nice thing about it is that it has, built in, an interface to automatically let you insert stuff into your code (math symbols, special characters, tables, enumerations), and you don't have to remember the tex commands for them. In addition to that, it puts all the annoying error messages into a separate window, so it might be easier to ignore them (your mileage may vary, though). Hope that helps, Andreas __________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind
