That tooltip capturing happens in other apps like notepad on my windows7 machines as well FWIW, and the only way to cure/clean it up then seems to be to alt tab to something else, move the cursor around, and then alt tab back to the text editors.

I've added some delays/pauses to Jamal's EdSharp scripts which has
helped. 1 thing I find *really* annoying is when my wireless network
reconnects, the tooltip is captured by Edsharp & it's hard to make it
disappear. I haven't yet found a cure for that 1.

Edsharp was not the only program that did this (Notepad did it quite
often) so it seems like a problem in jaws' interaction with the gui,
not specifically with edSharp.

Hi all. When I am inside of Ed sharp with JAWS, sometimes when I arrow
down, I'll hear "blank" but when I arrow up again, I find that JAWS has
somehow missed the line that resides where it said "blank". Anybody know why this might be happening and what I can do to remedy it? I have played
around with both the text out delay and reset frequency numbers and that
doesn't seem to do any good.

Thanks much in advance,

Blame the computer--why not? It can't defend itself & occasionally
