I'm using the text editor and command line approach. I tried Visual C++ 2008 but that damn thing did not like my ANSI-C code at all. It also refused to accept standard ANSI C++. So I gave up and use GCC from the command line. How hard is it to setup VS C++ to compile ANSI-C instead of C++.NET or whatever is the default. I read that VS C++ supports ANSI-C and ANSI C++ but I could not figure out how to set it up. I tried standard win32 but no way. I like the VS code editor since it automatically formats my code and I can easily run and test my code by just pressing ctrl-f5. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joseph Lee Sent: 28. juli 2010 19:25 To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Is Visual C++ Accessible - Was: C++ and I are getting divorced. Hi, From what I read here, VS2010 is not accessible. There are JAWS scripts and Window-Eyes set files for VS2008, which is the IDE that I use. The last time I attempted to teach myself C++ in the Visual Studio SDE I found it basically inaccessible. Has there been a significant progression toward accessibility in the Visual Studio environment? It would seem, judging from all the respondants to this thread -- that Visual Studio has indeed become more screen reader friendly. And, if so, which version(s)? ---- Holland's Person, Bill E-Mail: BillGallik@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx - The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese! __________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind No virus found in this incoming message.
