Its Microsofts way of using the internet explorer dom and visual basic to
create quick applications I would call it their XUL. It's pretty fun stuff
and quick to create simple applications. Not only simple though you can do
what every you can pull of in VB script.

What is HTA and what can you do with it? It sounds like a
scripting language (sort of) that is formatted with html?
