I have ibm viavoice on my machine because I bought openbook 7.0. NVDA picks it up when I have it search for sapi 4 synths. I can't imagine why it would be illegal to use eloquence or viavoice with NVDA. If you buy a copy of the synth and you legitimately own it, why wouldn't you be able to use it in whatever capacity you need to? Viavoice is only slightly diferent from eloquence. I kind of like it more, personally since it's a bit clearer and lends itself better to inflection. It used to make openbook crash though so, FS discontinued its inclusion in version 8 and above opting instead for just plain old eloquence with those versions. Is it also illegal to use NVDA with the sapi 5 voices from nuance or cepstral?
