glad someone agrees with me...*smile* The speech is downright abbrasive. But someone whose identity I don't remember sent me an email about how to get eloquence to work with NVDA, which I think is not quite legal, due to copyright, but pirated copies are out there somewhere. Eloquence is probably the most mature synth out there, but they still haven't fixed it so it won't lock up on the handful of strings that apparently still kill speech. Go figure. --le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jared Wright" <wright.jaredm@xxxxxxxxx> To: <programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2010 3:08 PM Subject: Re: Fw: youtube video, jaws versus NVDA espeak by default, and nothing available that's similar to Eloquence. Which is my only real outstanding gripe with it, which I wish I could get over, because I've always had a good laugh at people who got too hung up on synthesizer choice, but man... espeak is bad to my ears.
