Yes, .rar is supported as well.  Thanks to the free software from
http://7zip.com
I can hardly think of an archive format that FileDir cannot open.


By the way, this includes BookShare archives as well, which are now
in standard zip format.  Remember to set the unarchive password with
Alt+Shift+U.  Then subsequent archive operations will use that
password.  To clear the password, enter a space character rather than
leaving no characters at all in the edit box,  Since FileDir currently
does not distinguish between that situation and pressing Escape to cancel
the dialog.
