I think the best thing is to open t his up to the user community and see what they think we should include? What say all of you?

I would need to know what you wish to address. I would assume things like: What is off topic for this list? What kind of topics are discussed? etc. Also, what format would you want it in, html?

As far as an FAQ, I would be happy to write it.

My two cents on this .... I think the recent list problems have mainly
been due to how people have been using the list rather than due to
limitations of the FreeLists technology, which seems to work well for the JAWSScripts, Program-L, and other lists. I agree that is dumb for list server software to get confused by the word "subscribe" in the subject, and other such anomalies, but think they have generally been rare and not
interfered with the general functioning of the list. I think that
changing to Yahoo or Google sounds like it would create as many problems
as it solves. I suggest we stay with FreeLists but try to manage the
human interface better, including more regular intervention by the
moderator, less flaming, and perhaps monthly reminders about list
commands, and a FAQ if we can find a volunteer to write one.
