Hi Rui,
If it's legal, would you mind sharing the books so I can put them up on the blind programming site?

Thanks.

Jim

Hi Rui,

Thank you for help, but I already found the book.
Do you have other books that teach about SWT and JFace?

Thanks.

It won't work, because the table is not showing correctly. It lists a
cell text, then a blank line, then another cell text, and so on.

But I found the chm book:

The definitive guide to SWT and JFace:
http://www.dsource.org/projects/dwt/browser/downloads/win32/The-Definitive-Guide-to-SWT-and-JFace.chm?rev=90&format=raw

teddy,

check a table in the text version carefully, if it uses tabs to define
the columns of a table, then I think you could copy and paste the whole
thing into a rtf document like word pad or hj pad, save it in the .rtf
format, then open it in word and get actual tables in it

it's worked for me when the tables are properly defined in the text
document.

I have also tried it the other, "more logical" method of opening the
text file in word pad, saved it as a .rtf, then tried opening it in word
hoping to get the actual tables, and have had the tables become miss
aligned text jumbles . *shrug* as they say, "sometimes, something is
lost in translation"

good luck,
inthane

Hi,

Does anyone has "The definitive guide to SWT and JFace" in .chm format?
I've downloaded the .txt - transformed book, but it is very hard to
read.
(The book has tables, and I cannot read them well in a text file)

Thank you.
