Murphy's Law -- I thought virtually everyone had the .NET Framework 2.0 or
above on their computers by now, but someone trying TestPage reported that
he could not run it! It turned out that he only had version 1.1 of the
Framework installed. In another attempt to create a GUI version for any
Windows user, I have built a standard Win32 executable with PowerBASIC.
Source code is still included for the VBScript and VB.NET versions as
well.

Subject: Different build of TestPage

Apparently, functionality of the Windows Script Host is less available
than I thought. Since a primary goal of TestPage is convenient
installation and use, I have now built an alternative approach to the
VBScript one. I ported the code to Visual Basic .NET and compiled it into
the executable TestPageGUI.exe. The desktop shortcut now invokes this
program instead (though TestPage.vbs is still available in the same
folder).

I am curious whether this works better for folks who were having problems
running TestPage before. The .NET Framework 2.0 is required, but this is
practically standard now on any Windows computer. One disadvantage I
notice is that the window of the default text editor is not necessarily
activated after the report is generated (the report is opened there, but
the window does not reliably become the active one). I may be able to
code around this .NET issue, but it is significant work, unfortunately.

I invite any comparative feedback between the previous and current
release. The URL for the installer is the same,
