Database conversion search tips needed

I got given an msaccess 2000 data base and was asked to get it into some
form that could go out on the web once code was added to it to
cac-enable it. The cac card code someone else already has here
available so that won't be a problem. What is a problem for me though
is to figure out what to convert all of this to so the data base can do
its data base things like it did in msaccess on the web for authorized
personnel. What should I be looking for with google in order to find
out what my choices are for conversion or only option is if that's the
case? This is a learning assignment for me with no dead lines and I
have management's permission to request technical assistance at least
from within this organization. I will also want to do all of this so
when finished no problems with Section 508 exist.
