Oh no ! For me, java was the best free platform to make accessible GUI. There isn't any platform which is as accessible as java (either SWT or swing)... all others, QT, GTK, TK, WX, etc. are all inaccessible.
But since java is going to be open source (that's what I've read about java 7), if that news is really true, I hope that the bridge will be open as well and that somebody wil continue it.
