Hi Guys: First the million or so unlabeled graphics are gone from this list
compared to the original JAWS Virtual View Marv actually sent me. As for some
of the extra stuff, if anyone knows what the other stuff other than the related
menu bar is, like the stuff related to the browser below the Solution Explorer
items, let me know so we can either turn them off or set them up accordingly.
The problem initially was that a million unlabeled graphics seemed to be
overlapping contents of the various windows and controls. With that problem
gone the display is about 90 percent more readable. I would appreciate any
comments on the items listed after the list of folders displayed in the
Solution Explorer control and, the last item, which was the Webpage folder if I
remember. Ya, I don't get that browser stuff in WindowEyes and it may just be
another open window that we can close but let me know if you recognize anything
in Marv's listing so I can help him get set up.
Thanks:
Rick USA aka the WindowEyes User

Subject: Configuring Jaws With Windows Vista and Visual Web Developer

  hi.
  here's the situation.
using visual web developer and working on a major project with a blind
programmer , who will remain name less.
  and he uses window eyes.
well tried to send him a snap shot of a test visual web developer site.
well there is a tree view called solution manager.
well when i tried to copy the contents to send him.
a lot of it was graphics and a whole lot of clutter.
  sorry for the background.
  had to explain.
  my question is:
how to clean up jaws so it reads a lot better and a lot less clutter and junk
with windows vista?
any tips, tricks, tutorials, or work arounds.
  need this information.
unless i can get help to clean it up.
i cannot go forward with this project and need to become a jaws configuration
specialist.
and i do not really have time to spend months.
so looking for a immediate answer.
if any one has got any tips, ideas, from personal use.
  that would be very handy.
so would appreciate professional, constructive feedback and help.
  no flaming please.
  Marvin.
ps: see if you can spot any thing and will paste the contents of the solution
manager.
this is what my friend hears with window eyes.

  and also with windows explorer.
tried setting the window classes to tree view, multi line.
seems not to make any difference.

and see if you can spot any thing.
need to clean up jaws to read this a lot cleaner.
  no clutter or garbage.
so he suggested to you i send you snap shots of the vwd visual web developer
window and the windows explorer.
need to fix this up asap.
so then i can go forward with setting it up in vwd.
