Well its a linux server with a MYSQL database. I have written the DB connecter
file but it asks me to open the instaler with my web browser but I do not know
witch one it wants me to open or if I have to write any more config files..

now then what type of server are you installing to, I have set it up twice,
but that was years ago, and I was on a Linux server of the apache family, and
except for a lot of jaws cursoring since that was jaws 4.5 and I was using
putty, there was little trouble in the setup , what file is it looking for?
