I doubt these are still supported, or even worth using--there are way better
compilers out now that are of much greater use.

Subject: Can I use these?

As I am having some repair work done in my house I needed to get organized
and clean up so to speak.

While picking up/storing/cataloging CD's and DVD's that I had stacked up in
my computer room I found the following software...

I seem to recall buying them at a yard sale back when I still had a little
bit of sight.

The original owner was a programmer but left this field after having some
major accident.

I bought them thinking one day I might wish to try some more serious
programming also.

Back then I was just doing GW Basic.

the titles are:

Borland C Plus Plust V5.0

Borland Pascal V7.0

Borland Turbo Assembler 5.0

Were these programs meant to be used under Windows or Dos?

Can they still be used under Windows XP?

I can't find the books that I know came with the CD's.

is it possible to find this documentation online?

Did the books contain the serial numbers I might need?

Any help you can offer will be appreciated.

Thanks

Robert
