After learning the basic html, you would like to learn server side
programming to be able to create dynamic websites. For that, try to learn php
with mysql, asp.net with ms sql etc.
There are free ebooks available for teaching these languages, "teach your
self asp.net in 21 days", "Teach Yourself PHP MySQL and Apache in 24 Hours" etc.
You should also look for tools which helps in creating websites. For example,
XAMPP or WAMP for developing php sites on windows and vs2005 or vs2008 express
for .net programming on windows.

Remember, google is the best and quick way to get to the information you want.

    Hi everyone,

My name is Otis Blue and I want to learn how to do web programming and
software programming. Do anyone have any suggestions on how should I start
out with web programming? Is there a good book that's out there for a
beginner to start reading? I love to hear any suggestions on where to
    start.
