Not to be corrective but it's actually free bsd and some commands are very different because of that. Not to mention it uses a file system that is multi case. In order to compile some of the linux apps you need to make sure you use a case sensitive file system which you can do easy enough on the Mac. For example you need to do this when compiling an Android repo. You could find that out once you hit command-shift-a to open applications then hit u to open up utilities then hit t to open up a terminal. Down on that level provided you know what you're doing is where the real power is for power users since on that level you're under the hood. One of the first mud's in existence which is still in operation ancient anguish don't have the telnet address on me for it now has both graphics and text appear on computer terminals in fact to this day areas still exist with only graphics and no text descriptions but as maintainers have time they update the system so text descriptions get added to those areas. I think telnet ancientanguish.org or telnet ancient.anguish.org:8080 may be the correct address. I happen to be good friends with one of the maintainers who has admin rights on that mud. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Florian-achtige Sent: Monday, April 11, 2011 15:10 To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Apple Developer site not letting me continue Ugh...
