You need to configure Apache in the same way under Windows and Linux, so WAMP
or LAMP... doesn't matter too much.

  Good morning James,

Which distrobution will you need to be working with? There are many
similarities, but it is important to understand the particulars of your distro.

Wamp runs on Windows, doesn't it? I'm looking for Linux material. Thanks to

Hi Jim. Send me your address. I think I have a book on WAMP administration
and the like in pdf format if you're interested. Also, googling WAMP will
yield you lots of results. Cheers!

    Subject: Apache Administration Material

    Hi,

I will be starting to help administrate a web site that uses Apache. The
server has the usual stuff: Perl, PHP, MySQL, and so on. Can anyone point me to
reading material that will help me get up to speed? I know that I will be using
command line tools, no GUI. The administration of the operating system (a form
of Linux) is not my responsibility. It would probably help me if I did a review
of basic stuff like UNIX or Linux commands just to make sure I don't break
something because I know just enough to be dangerous.

    Thanks.
