Make sure the location of python.exe is now included in your system environment variables instance of %path%?

I have installed the latest version of Python, which is 3.9.4. Every
tutorial I have read so far, when explaining how to run it, Tells you to
open power shell/command prompt and invoke Python from there. While Python
shows up as a program on start menu, the commands in Power Shell bring up
the result "Python not found". When I open the Python program group and
launch Python that way, I get the interactive part, I can write simple
instructions and see them executed right away. But how do I open a file in
this setup? Seems like at least this installation is not as straightforward.
When I tried Ruby, I was able to start the interactive Ruby from the start
menu, but also could invoke it from power shell, and through power shell I
could run a Ruby script if I entered the full path. But power shell is not
seeing Python, so entering the full path will not result in anything.
