Don't know that it will show up for you (I use VS Pro) but on the
Project menu for me there is "Export Template".

Soronel,
I am not sure how much C coding I will be writing. I like the flexibility
that C offers. However, everything takes more effort. But, with C is more
control on what you want to do.
Could you help me to figure out how to create this template?
Thanks in advance,
Pablo

Note that if you plan on doing lots of C work it is easy enough to create a
custom project template.

Hi Ben and all,
I would like to share my findings in these last days. Visual Studio
Community is able to compile C also. It is weird since it doesn't
allow the users to create a project using any C template. However, if
you start a C++ project and you save the files with a .c extension.
Visual Studio will start using C only. So you would be able to compile
and debug the code written on C. No C++.
I hope this information could be helpful to someone.
Thanks to all,
Pablo

Hi Pablo,
I think what you want is the Minimalist GNU environment which includes
c and
c++ compiler for Windows.

Hello all,
I am taking a course that requires some C coding. I worked on C many
years ago when I was sighted, and for those days the compiling process
was pretty similar than today. However, these days I have not been
able to find any C compiler, as well VS Code is not cooperating with
my task.
I am finding that VS Code is not even working with Python when I have
the Python and C C++ libraries installed and set up in VS Code.
I would like to just get a C compiler since my time to submit this
assignment is on the corner.
Any suggestion of a C compiler that could be free?
Thanks in advance to all,
Pablo
