Suzy: Thanks for the clarification of your tip. ...with regards to the "Problems" view and navigation I only use the keystrokes to open the view and then select the item of interest and hit the enter key. This will bring you to the line that is causing the issue and in most cases places you on the actual syntax that has the conflict. In the list of commands it is called open resource. I don't put anything in and it brings up a history of everything I have been in lately. Have you done anything called a POM update? I think this is when we are moving all the code from one branch to another. Can you tell me the keys you use a lot to move from one thing to another. It seems slow to correct something in the problems and go back to code. What ways does Eclipse help you the most? I checked it out in 3.3 and it popped up a dialog asking for the resource in which to search? I entered my class and it opened it. Is this your experience? When I am looking for a class file I use control plus shift r. It is lots easier than going down the tree view. Susie Stanzel
